Our Mission

Community Resource Services weeks to be the provider of choice to all the individuals we serve including, the people who support them, the referral agencies and the employer of choice to our staff.

Eligibility

All families eligible for Respite Service through Community Resource Services must be referred by Alta California Regional Center.

Respite Service is available to developmentally disabled persons, age two months through adulthood.

Families referred by these agencies receive a pre-authorized amount of time for Respite Service, free of charge.

All families eligible for service must complete an intake interview with the Respite Coordinator in the convenience of their own home.

Upon completion of the interview and documentation a convenient date and time can be scheduled for your family to begin to receive Respite Service.

How Beautiful a day can be when Kindness touches it!

What is Respite Service?

Our Respite Service program aids families, providing relief from daily care giving responsibilities for individuals with disabilities by a trained care provider called a Respite Worker.

Respite care can be provided in your home or a Respite Worker can accompany your adult or child to an approved activity of your choice.

We provide appropriate care and supervision to protect that person’s safety in the absence of a family member or caregiver. Relieving family members and caregivers from the constant responsibility of providing care. Attending to the basic self-help needs and other activities that would ordinarily be performed by the family member or caregiver.

What is the Service Schedule?

Respite Service is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day for your convenience. The hours of service per quarter, allowed to your family, are determined by the Regional Center.

The Respite Coordinator will assist you in scheduling a convenient time and date to meet your needs.
